It is rare to find these completely free from chips and damage, and even rarer to find them with the original packaging. The tortoise is designed as a small decorative figurine and can be used as a charming piece of décor on a shelf or alongside other small ornaments.

A bit of history:

Wade Ceramics has a long history of producing all kinds of ceramics. The factories are still located in the Stoke-on-Trent area of England, known for its pottery industry. In the 1950s, Sir George Wade organised a series of local ceramic exhibitions, including the famous George Wade & Sons. In 1954, the company began producing a range of small figurines, including small decorative animals such as this Wade porcelain tortoise. See similar products
