It is a fantastic example of this rare and sought-after watch. The 24-hour dial and minute counter are clearly visible. The hour hand is particularly distinctive, with an extra chronograph minute hand featuring a luminous tip.

The chronograph seconds hand is visible at the centre and starts moving as soon as the chronograph is activated. It is a 24-hour dial, while the GMT function is operated by the 9 o’clock subdial. A small central hand shows the current hour in the 24-hour format. The chronograph timer indicates the time at 6 o’clock. A bit of history:

The model now known as “Jedi” started its life quite simply as the Omega Seamaster, reference 145.024.

It was launched in the early 1970s and features the manual-winding calibre 861. Although it was also known as the “flat case”, it was first in the 1970s that the Star Wars association really took shape. Chuck Maddox owned a reference 145.023, which he called “Darth Vader” because of its strong black appearance.

In addition, a variant known as the 145.023 “Anakin Skywalker” was introduced, while the 145.024 was given the original “Jedi” nickname. These names gradually became closely associated with the models and quickly became cult favourites among enthusiasts.
